Gr. 2 Apple Orchard Field Trip

We had a beautiful day to visit Thompson’s Apple Orchard in New Gloucester. When we arrived, we went on an exciting wagon ride that brought deep into the orchard. Then we became scientists and made observations of apple trees by drawing sketches and writing describing words focusing on our senses. After picking some apples and enjoying snack we walked back and visited the apple cider press. It was amazing to see how it all works! We decided to take some of the yummy cider and donuts back to school to enjoy. What a great day!
