*Class Expectations
These are the expectations I have for the students when they are in our classroom environment. We follow them so we can learn in a safe and respectful community.
Coming Into Class:
- Hang up coat & bag on a hook.
- Pass in folder.
- Lunch choice.
- Place chair with your desk.
- Prepare: Sharpen pencils, switch books, etc.
- Do morning activity (varies).
- Sit on rug quietly in a circle.
Morning Meeting Area:
- Sit in a circle with your legs crossed.
- Hands stay empty.
- Keep eyes on the speaker.
- Be respectful with our bodies and our hands.
Lining Up and Walking in the Hall:
- Hands by our sides.
- Eyes on the person in front of you.
- Respect the space.
- Straight line.
- No talking.
